Breakfast Presentation
The Impact of Eagle Ford Shale on this Area

Within the last three years a spotlight has been placed on Eagle Ford Shale. This oil and gas boom in South Texas is predicted to last for the next twenty years. Although only three of the twelve counties in the Coastal Bend community are part of the regional oil boom, a spillover effect is being felt by surrounding communities.

Join us to hear our guest panel express their perspectives concerning this major financial impact to the Texas economy. Texas Railroad Commissioner David Porter will present on the current and future plans of Eagle Ford Shale. Tom Best, President of TBGH Investments, Ltd., will address oil & gas supplier issues relating to the rise of Eagle Ford Shale and Manuel Ugues, Corporate Business Services Director of Serco of Texas, will share the importance of meeting workforce demand for Eagle Ford Shale.
